computer with an Internet connection, with no additional software. |

- Setting Objectives: Publish the unit objectives to shared with students and parents
- Providing Feedback: Make a scoring guide available online for students and parents
- Providing Recognition: Post exceptional student works on the class blog or unit wiki. This could be the student’s publication, a slideshow, a video, an audio recording of the student’s performance. It is very easy to embed multimedia widgets in a wiki.
- Summarizing and Notetaking: Students can compose notes and summaries on a wiki, which can be shared with others, assessed at from any Internet connected computer.
- Cooperative Learning: Wikis support cooperative learning as they provide the ability to have multiple authors working on the same publication with discussion tools, and a revision history to see exactly who did what when.
