Marzano's Instructional Strategies and Skype
Providing Feedback
Use Skype to interview an expert in another location.
Skype can be used during a collaborative project to provide feedback between classes in different locations, or feedback from an authentic audience.
Providing Recognition
Use Skype to share the class’ best work with another class while participating in a collaborative project.
Cooperative Learning
Skype is a great tool to use when participating in a collaborative project with another classroom. Webcams allow for video conversations, or a microphone can be used for an audio only call. The chat feature is also useful for troubleshooting a connection or sharing links. You can also share desktops and view each other’s computer screens.
